Sunday is Money Day at Mason City Motor Speedway

The Pritchard Family Auto Stores Mason City Motor Speedway is ready to rumble this Sunday, May 5, with the PRO Late Model Series battling for a top prize of $1,000 plus the second round of Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action featuring Sanco Equipment USRA Modifieds ($1,500 to win), Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars and Window World USRA B-Mods ($1,000 to win), Wrightz Auction Co USRA Hobby Stocks ($700 to win) and the Outlaw Mini Mod Series ($300 to win).

The pits open at 2:30 p.m. and grandstands open at 3:30. For competitors, draw closes and the drivers meeting begins at 4:30. Hot laps are set for 4:45 with racing at 5 or immediately following hot laps.

Based on their opening-night wins on April 21, the points leaders are Rodney Sanders of Happy, Texas (Sanco Equipment USRA Modifieds), Todd Staley of Webster City (Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars), Trevor Fecht of Allison (Window World USRA B-Mods) and Dustin Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D. (Wrightz Auction Co USRA Hobby Stocks)

Sunday's show will be the first of the season for the Outlaw Mini Mod Series and the first ever for the PRO Late Model Series which returns to Mason City three more times on June 16, July 14 and Aug. 11.

Sunday May 12 - Renegade High Roller Series 410 Winged and Non-Wing Sprint Cars along with Sanco Equipment USRA Modifieds ($1,500 to win), Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars and Window World USRA B-Mods ($1,000 to win), and Wrightz Auction Co Hobby Stocks ($700 to win). This will be a must see show.

Sunday May 19 - Fiesta Night featuring $2 Modelos for Happy Hour along with $1.50 tacos, plus another round of Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action featuring Sanco Equipment USRA Modifieds ($1,500 to win), Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars and Window World USRA B-Mods ($1,000 to win), Wrightz Auction Co USRA Hobby Stocks ($700 to win) and the Outlaw Mini Mod Series.

Sunday May 26 - 9th Annual Mod Mania featuring the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt ($3,000 to win) plus Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars and Window World USRA B-Mods ($1,000 to win), Wrightz Auction Co USRA Hobby Stocks ($700 to win) and the Outlaw Mini Mod Series ($300 to win). The USMTS returns for Hall of Fame Weekend on Friday-Sunday, July 19-21.
